Dierks Bentley
Dierks Bentley has planned a four-night residency in four separate New
York City venues in October, playing material from his CMA-nominated album,
Up on the Ridge. Bentley will focus on
his country hits at the Bowery Ballroom on Oct. 18, then perform a bluegrass-inspired set with the
Del
McCoury Band at City Winery on Oct. 19. Bentley will join songwriters Jessi Alexander, Jim Beavers and
Up on the Ridge
producer
Jon Randall Stewart for the CMA Songwriters Series at Joe's Pub
on Oct. 20. He will conclude his residency at South Paw with the acoustic group Punch Brothers on Oct. 21. A limited number
of four-day passes will be available at Bentley's website on Friday (Sept. 10) with single tickets for sale on his website
and through each venue. "This entire year has been about following my heart, musically," he said. "Getting the opportunity
to be in New York in the fall, playing with my heroes and my friends is really exciting ... it's a cool way for me to take
everything we've done this year and pick it apart and really focus on each different element of the music for an entire night."
