Chris Young will participate in the CMA Songwriters Series on Nov. 9 in Nashville, along with hit songwriters Brett James, Rivers Rutherford and Craig Wiseman. Young's hits include "Getting You Home," "Drinkin' Me Lonely" and "Voices" James' credits include Carrie Underwood's "Jesus, Take the Wheel," Kenny Chesney's "When the Sun Goes Down" and Young's "The Man I Want to Be." Rutherford's song catalog includes Brooks & Dunn's "Ain't Nothin' 'Bout You," Tim McGraw's "Real Good Man" and Brad Paisley's "When I Get Where I'm Going." Wiseman's credits include Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins' "Hillbilly Bone," McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying" and Young's "Voices." The performance will be held at Limelight, a performance venue near downtown Nashville. Advance tickets go on sale on Friday (Sept. 24) at the venue's website.
