Steve Wariner will sing the national anthem prior to the New York Yankees/Texas Rangers baseball game Saturday (Oct. 16) in Arlington, Texas. The game, televised by TBS at 4 p.m. ET, is the second in the American League Championship Series. Neal McCoy will perform "God Bless America" during the seventh-inning stretch. In related news, Country Music Hall of Fame member Charley Pride, who resides in Dallas, is among the group of 18 owners who bought the Texas Rangers earlier this year. In the '50s, Pride was a pitcher and outfielder for the Birmingham Black Barons and the Memphis Red Sox.
