CMT will celebrate the most successful and influential country songs of the past 10 years when it counts down country's most
popular videos in an all-new music special,
CMT's 40 Greatest Songs of the Decade, premiering Nov. 13. The two-hour
special will pay tribute to the Top 40 videos in country music from 2000-2010. Highlighting classics such as
Brooks
& Dunn's
"Red Dirt Road," Faith
Hill's
"Breathe" and
Toby Keith's
"Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)," the special will also incorporate exclusive, brand-new interviews
with country music's biggest stars.
Trace Adkins,
Kenny
Chesney,
Miranda Lambert,
Tim McGraw,
Rascal
Flatts,
Taylor Swift and others will provide personal commentary
and reveal stories behind the songs.
