Elvis Presley, who died in 1977, has earned an estimated $60 million between Oct. 1, 2009, and Oct. 1, 2010, according to the financial publication, Forbes. His revenues include admissions to Graceland in Memphis, Tenn., the Viva Elvis Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas and more than 2,000 licensing and merchandising deals. Presley came in second on a list of top-earning deceased celebrities, following Michael Jackson's $275 million earnings. Other celebrities on the list include author J.R.R. Tolkien, Peanuts creator Charles Schulz and musician John Lennon.
