Heidi Newfield
Heidi Newfield previewed her new single, "Stay Up Late," at a private
gathering at a Nashville recording studio on Monday afternoon (Nov. 8). The up-tempo single was written by Jimmy Yeary, Sonya
Isaacs and Ben Hayslip. Newfield mingled with guests and played four new tracks in the studio where she recorded them. A full
album, produced by Blake Chancey, is expected early next year on Curb Records. Formerly in the trio
Trick
Pony, Newfield's first solo album, 2008's
What Am I Waiting For, featured the hit,
"Johnny
and June."
