The Judds and veteran record label executive Joe Galante will be honored by the Country Radio Broadcasters Inc. (CRB) on March 1 in Nashville during the Country Radio Hall of Fame dinner and awards ceremony. The Judds will be recognized with the CRB Career Achievement Award, while Galante, the former chairman of Sony Music Nashville, will receive the CRB President's Award for his contribution to the marketing, production, growth and development of the Country Radio Seminar. Galante started working at RCA Records in 1971 and signed the Judds to their RCA contract in 1983. RCA later merged with Sony Music. He stepped down from the label in April. Meanwhile, the Judds launched their final tour on Friday (Nov. 26) in Green Bay, Wis. They will star in a new series on the Oprah Winfrey Network in 2011.
