Brad Paisley has teamed with a Grammy-nominated bluegrass band,
the
Grascals, to remake
Buck Owens' country classic, "I've Got a Tiger by the Tail." The
song will be featured on the bluegrass group's upcoming release,
The Grascals & Friends -- Country Classics With a
Bluegrass Spin, available exclusively at Cracker Barrel on Jan. 10. Other guest artists include
Dierks
Bentley on "Folsom Prison Blues,"
Charlie Daniels on "The Devil Went Down to Georgia,"
Tom T. Hall on "The Year That Clayton Delaney Died,"
Joe
Nichols on "Mr. Bojangles,"
the Oak Ridge Boys on "Leavin' Louisiana in the
Broad Daylight,"
Dolly Parton on "The Pain of Loving You" and
Darryl
Worley on "White Lightning." In addition, the group re-recorded
Mel McDaniel's "Louisiana
Saturday Night," a
Hank Williams Jr. medley, an instrumental titled "Cracker Barrel
Swing" and two versions of a new song, "I Am Strong." The Grascals won the International Bluegrass Music International (IBMA)
entertainer of the year award in 2006 and 2007.
