Dolly Parton will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy, the organization that presents the annual Grammy Awards ceremony. Fellow honorees include singer-actress Julie Andrews, the Kingston Trio, the Ramones, the Juilliard String Quartet, drummer Roy Haynes and gospel singer-composer George Beverly Shea. The musicians will be honored at a special invitation-only ceremony on Feb. 12 in Los Angeles. In addition, a formal acknowledgment will be made during the Grammy Awards show airing live from Los Angeles on CBS on Feb. 13.
