
Kyle Jacobs and Kellie Pickler
Kellie Pickler and songwriter Kyle Jacobs have announced that they married on New Year's
Day on a private island in the Caribbean. The couple met in 2008 and became engaged on June 15, 2010, on a Florida beach vacation.
A spokesman for Pickler's label, Sony Music, said Pickler and Jacobs were "married in an intimate ceremony." A finalist on
American Idol in 2006, Pickler's country hits include

High Heels," "I Wonder" and

Days of Your Life." Jacobs' songwriting credits include
Garth Brooks' "More Than
