Miranda Lambert
Miranda Lambert has been added to the list of performers at next month's Grammy Awards
show in Los Angeles, a source told CMT Wednesday night (Jan. 12). An official announcement is expected to be made Thursday.
Lambert is nominated for best female vocal country performance for "The House That Built Me" and best country album for
Revolution.
She's also up for best country collaboration with vocals for her work with Dierks Bentley and Jamey Johnson on "Bad Angel,"
a track from Bentley's
Up on the Ridge album. Additionally, songwriters Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin are nominated
for best country song and overall song of the year for "The House That Built Me." In December, Lambert performed "Only Prettier"
in Los Angeles during the Grammy nominations telecast. Her recording of "The House That Built Me" is included on the
2011
Grammy Nominees album set for a Jan. 25 release on Jive Records. The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will air live on Feb. 13
on CBS.
