A tribute to Waylon Jennings is among the new country albums released Tuesday (Feb. 8). The Music Inside: A Collaboration Dedicated to Waylon Jennings, Vol. 1 (Scatter/Big Machine) features new recordings by his widow Jessi Colter and their son Shooter Jennings, as well as Trace Adkins, Alabama, newcomer Chanel Campbell, Patty Griffin, John Hiatt, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Kris Kristofferson, James Otto and Sunny Sweeney. Waylon Jennings can also be heard on one of the tracks, "Go Down Rockin'." A second volume is scheduled for June 14, the day prior to what would have been Jennings' 74th birthday. The third volume is slated for a fall release. Jennings died in 2002.
