Craig Morgan
Craig Morgan and Sony Music have amicably parted ways, a spokesperson for the label confirmed
Thursday (Feb. 10). His most recent single for the label, "Still a Little Chicken Left on That Bone," peaked at No. 37 earlier
this month. Morgan landed two Top 10 hits for the label --
"Love
Remembers" and
"Bonfire." He moved to Sony Music's BNA imprint
in 2008 after a successful run at the independent Broken Bow Records with hits such as "Almost Home,"
"That's
What I Love About Sunday," "Redneck Yacht Club," "Little
Bit of Life" and
"International Harvester." Other
artists who have recently departed Sony Music Nashville include
Alan Jackson,
Martina
McBride,
Montgomery Gentry and
Chuck
Wicks.
