previewed material from her upcoming album at a private showcase in
downtown Nashville on Tuesday night (March 1), just prior to the annual Country Radio Seminar (CRS). She told the industry
audience she had experienced significant changes in her life over the last year, including a new management team and signing
with a new record label, Republic Nashville. She then introduced her new single, the autobiographical "Teenage Daughters,"
which she wrote with
the Warren Brothers. She also unveiled the positive and up-tempo
"My House," which she said she wrote to open her concerts, as well as the nostalgic ballad, "That Summer of Love." In addition,
she played three of her most popular hits -- "Wild Angels,"
"A
Broken Wing" and
"This One's for the Girls."
The showcase was sponsored by CMT Radio Live and Big Machine Records. Other performers included
Justin
Moore, the
Eli Young Band and newcomers Eden's Edge. On a break between her Asian
and European tour dates,
Taylor Swift made a brief appearance to draw
the winner of a flyaway sweepstakes to one of her concerts.
