CMT's Evan Farmer will present the nominees for the 2011 CMT Music Awards live on NBC's
Today show on April 27. Appearing
with hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, Farmer will present the nominees during the 10 a.m. ET hour.
The
Band Perry will also participate in the nomination announcements and perform their current hit single,
"You
Lie." The nominations event marks the first time CMT and NBC have partnered to announce the nominations. Voting begins
on
CMT.com immediately following this announcement. Also for the first time, fans will get a sneak peek at the nominees
for the
USA Weekend breakthrough video of the year category on Monday (April 25) beginning at 10 a.m. ET at usaweekend.com.
The 2011 CMT Music Awards mark the 10th anniversary of the awards show and will air live from Nashville on June 8 on CMT and
