Michael Grimm, the winner of NBC's American's Got Talent in 2010, released a self-titled album on Epic Records on Tuesday (May 17). Produced by Don Was, the project features guest appearances by Travis Tritt and Heart's Ann Wilson. "It's a good way to merge my country roots with soul by meeting in the middle with rock 'n' roll," he said. Shortly after winning the competition, Grimm proposed to his girlfriend on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. In addition, he used his winnings from the show to help build a home for his grandmother in Mississippi after she was displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Grimm lives in Las Vegas.
