Voting begins Friday night (June 3) to determine the winner of CMT's Next Superstar. Viewers can cast their votes immediately after the season's second-to-last episode airs at 9 p.m. ET. The winner will be revealed during the season finale on June 10. Viewers can vote by text message and at www.cmtsuperstar.com through June 10 at 10 a.m. ET. The winner will receive a record deal with Warner Bros. Nashville and an opening spot on this fall's CMT on Tour with Luke Bryan. The winner's performance at the finale will be featured as a music video on CMT and CMT.com. Both of the finalists -- Georgia native Steven Clawson and Indiana-born Matt Mason -- have songs available on iTunes. In addition, CMT's Next Superstar will return for a second season in late 2011/early 2012. Auditions for the second season will take place this summer. (If you are interested in auditioning, send an e-mail to Superstar@cmt.com to receive additional information when details are announced.) Trace Adkins will act as an artist advisor on Friday's CMT's Next Superstar episode.
