Carrie Underwood's "Last Name" and Thompson Square's "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not" have each earned digital platinum certifications by the RIAA for 1 million paid downloads. Underwood has earned six platinum singles while this is the first for Thompson Square. In addition, Taylor Swift's "Mean" has been certified gold for 500,000 digital downloads. Among albums, Kid Rock's Born Free has been certified platinum for shipments of 1 million units, while Eric Church's Carolina and Zac Brown Band's Pass the Jar have been certified gold for 500,000 units.
