Ricky Skaggs, Tony Rice and Dailey & Vincent are featured on Bill Monroe Centennial Celebration: A Classic Bluegrass Tribute, a Rounder Records compilation commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Father of Bluegrass. Among the previously-released tracks are Michael Cleveland's version of "Dark as the Night, Blue as the Day" featuring Dan Tyminski and Vince Gill. Set for release on Aug. 23, the 28-track collection also features cuts by Ralph Stanley & the Clinch Mountain Boys, Claire Lynch, IIIrd Tyme Out, the Nashville Bluegrass Band, the Grascals and Bobby Osborne & the Rocky Top X-press. Monroe died in 1996.
