Jake Owen's current single, "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," has been certified gold by the RIAA for more than 500,000 digital downloads. The track currently holds the No. 9 position on Billboard's country songs chart. It's the first single from Owen's third album, a project produced by Joey Moi (Nickelback's co-producer), Rodney Clawson (co-writer of such hits as George Strait's "I Saw God Today") and Grammy-winning producer Tony Brown. Owen is the special guest on the U.S. leg of Keith Urban's Get Closer tour which includes shows Friday (July 29) in Toledo, Ohio, and Sunday in Fort Wayne, Ind.
