Shelton and veteran guitarist-producer Brent Rowan will serve as producers of
Neal
McCoy's new album,
XII, set for release in January by Blaster Records. It's his 12th album. The first single from
the project, "A-OK," will be released in October. In May, McCoy sang at Lambert and Shelton's wedding in Texas, performing
an original song, "Let's Grow Old Together." Following the ceremony, he also entertained at the couple's wedding reception.
During his tenure at Atlantic Records during the '90s, McCoy scored two No. 1 singles, "No Doubt About It" and "Wink," and
several Top 10 hits, including "You Gotta Love That," "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye," "They're Playin' Our Song" and "The
Shake."
