Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley are in the running for entertainer of the year at the 45th annual CMA Awards. Jake Owen and The Band Perry announced the CMA nominations in five categories Tuesday (Sept. 6) in New York City during a segment of ABC's Good Morning America. Jerrod Niemann and Thompson Square will announce final nominees in seven of the 12 CMA Awards categories from Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium. Paisley and Carrie Underwood will host the awards show on Nov. 9 in Nashville.

Male vocalist: Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Paisley, Shelton, Urban
Female vocalist: Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Swift, Carrie Underwood
New artist: The Band Perry, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Thompson Square, Chris Young
Vocal group: The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, the Zac Brown Band
