Lady Antebellum
Lady Antebellum's new album,
Own the Night, sold 347,000 copies in its first
week of release to debut at No. 1 on
Billboard's country albums chart and the
Billboard 200, which reflects
sales of all musical styles. It's the highest first-week sales for any country album since
Taylor
Swift's
Speak Now sold 1.05 million for the week ending on Nov. 13, 2010. It's the second time a Lady Antebellum
album has debuted at the top of the
Billboard 200. Their previous project,
Need You Now, accomplished the feat
with sales of 481,000 copies in February 2010. Lady Antebellum join the
Dixie Chicks
and
Rascal Flatts as the only country groups to have topped the all-genres album chart.
