Rascal Flatts received an invitation to become members of the Grand Ole Opry during their performance there on Tuesday night (Sept. 27). The group will be formally inducted on Oct. 8 as part of the Opry's 86th birthday weekend. After the group sang "Bless the Broken Road," Vince Gill stepped onstage to invite them to officially join the cast. After a standing ovation, the group joined with Gill to sing his hit, "Whenever You Come Around." Other artists booked for the Oct. 8 show include Ronnie Dunn, Craig Morgan and Charley Pride.
