Martina McBride performs several of her hits and material from her upcoming album,
Eleven, during a new episode of
Invitation
Only premiering Oct. 17 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. Taped before a small studio audience in Nashville, the concert special
also includes an informal Q&A session with fans. The show includes performances of past hits such as
"This
One's for the Girls," "Love's the Only House" and
"Wrong Baby Wrong," as well as
"I'm
Gonna Love You Through It" and
"Teenage Daughters"
from her new Republic Nashville album to be released on Oct. 11. McBride will embark on an extensive campaign to promote
the release of
Eleven. She'll become the first artist in history to launch an album by taking an Amtrak train all the
way across the nation. The trip begins in Los Angeles and will make 11 stops before arriving in New York City where she'll
participate in a ceremony to light the Empire State Building in pink on Oct. 14 to raise awareness of breast cancer. The lighting
will be followed by a concert at the landmark.
