
The Mavericks
Three original members of
the Mavericks are reuniting for a summer tour of North America
and Europe. Their first show since 2003 will take place at the Stagecoach festival in April in Indio, Calif.
Raul
Malo (vocals, guitar), Robert Reynolds (bass) and Paul Deakin (drums) are the core of the Mavericks, although guitarists
David Lee Holt, Nick Kane and Eddie Perez have also toured with the band. One of the most award-winning country groups of
the 1990s, their singles included "All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down," "O What a Thrill" and "What a Crying Shame."
