Country Music Hall of Fame member Loretta Lynn is recuperating at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., after being hospitalized in Bowling Green, Ky., for the beginning stages of bacterial pneumonia. In a message on her official website, a spokesperson said the 76-year-old singer-songwriter awoke on her tour bus around 1:30 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 22) and complained she was having problems breathing. She canceled Saturday night's concert in Ashland, Ky., and Sunday's show in Durham, N.C. In a statement on her website, Lynn said, "It was one scary night. But I am feeling better and [am] just gonna take it easy for a couple of weeks." She's planning to return to the road for a Nov. 3 appearance in Knoxville, Tenn.
