Actress Rita Wilson and Indiana-born singer-songwriter Corey Cox will open for
Sugarland
at the duo's Friday night (Oct. 28) show in Indianapolis. The concert at the Conseco Fieldhouse, added as the final date on
Sugarland's Incredible Machine tour, will benefit the Indiana State Fair Remembrance Fund in honor of the seven people who
died and more than 40 injured when a storm struck the fairgrounds just prior to the duo's Aug. 13 concert. Wilson, who is
married to actor-director Tom Hanks, will release her debut album,
AM/FM, in February. It features her versions of
classic pop and folk-rock songs. Her recent film projects include
Larry Crowne,
It's Complicated,
Old Dogs
and
My Life in Ruins.
