Swift received nominations from the
Billboard Touring Awards on Wednesday (Nov. 2) for their package tours. Chesney's
Goin' Coastal tour included the
Zac Brown Band,
Billy
Currington and
Uncle Kracker. Swift's Speak Now tour featured
Needtobreathe and numerous new country artists. Usher's OMG tour with Miguel
and Trey Songz rounds out the category. In addition,
Jason Aldean is nominated
in the breakthrough category with Katy Perry and Rihanna, while manager Coran Capshaw (who leads
Tim
McGraw and
Faith Hill's careers) will be recognized with the humanitarian
award. The
Billboard Touring Awards will be presented on Nov. 10 in New York City. The awards are largely based on
statistics reported to
Billboard Boxscore from Oct. 1, 2010, through Sept. 30, 2011.
