those performing at the 2012 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival set for April 27-29 and May 3-6. The event at the Fair
Grounds Race Course will also feature Foo Fighters,
John Mayer, Feist,
My Morning Jacket and Florence & the Machine, along with jazz greats such as Herbie Hancock and a long list of New Orleans
favorites, including the Neville Brothers, Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas and Trombone Shorty. The festival began
in 1970 and last year attracted more than 400,000 fans during the two weekends. Tickets to the 2012 festival are now on sale
via Ticketmaster.
