Kix Brooks will release his first solo single for Arista Nashville, titled "New to This Town," on March 19. The track features Joe Walsh of the Eagles. Brooks co-wrote the song with longtime friends Marv Green and Terry McBride. "It paints the powerful emotion we've all known, of lost love and the uncomfortable situation of running in to that person again," Brooks said. Prior to his 20-year career with Brooks & Dunn, Brooks recorded as a solo artist in the 1980s for Avion Records and Capitol Records.
