Carrie Underwood and
Kix Brooks performed their
new singles Thursday night (Feb. 23) in Nashville during Sony Music Nashville's annual concert on the General Jackson showboat.
The private cruise on the Cumberland River was part of Country Radio Seminar, a gathering of country radio broadcasters, which
continues through Friday. In closing the show, Underwood roared through her 2010 hit,
"Undo
It," along with "Someday When I Stop Loving You" and her new single, "Good Girl." Launching a solo career after huge success
as a member of
Brooks & Dunn, Brooks delivered "Let's Do This Thing" and his first
solo single for Arista, "New to This Town." Sony Music Nashville includes the Arista, RCA, BNA and Columbia imprints. Newcomers
Casey James, Tyler Farr and Kristen Kelly joined
Kellie
Pickler,
Sara Evans,
Jake Owen,
Josh
Thompson and
Love and Theft as performers on the show. The event closed with a
cover version of the '60s rock hit, "Good Lovin'," featuring Underwood, Evans, Owen, Kelly and, on harmonica, Brooks.
