Pat Green's Songs We Wish We'd Written II is among the independent country albums released Tuesday (May 8). Green's project includes his rendition of Joe Ely's "All Just to Get to You" along with material by Lyle Lovett, Tom Petty and others. Other new albums include songwriter John Fullbright's From the Ground Up, folk duo Jimmy Gaudreau & Moondi Klein's Home From the Hills, Oklahoma roots band Turnpike Troubadours' Goodbye Normal Street, bluesy singer Paul Thorn's What the Hell Is Going On? and fiddler-vocalist Sara Watkins' Sun Midnight Sun.
