Scotty McCreery will return to American Idol next week for the show's season 11 finale. McCreery, who won last year's competition, will appear Tuesday (May 22) to perform "Please Remember Me," which he recorded as this season's "goodbye song" to be played after a contestant was eliminated. He will also appear Wednesday to celebrate the new winner. "I am so excited about going back to American Idol and seeing everyone again," he said. "I hope to spend some time with the finalists, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez, and share some of my experiences with them. I can't believe that it's been a year since I was in their shoes."
