Josh Thompson
Josh Thompson has exited the RCA roster, a label spokesman has confirmed. Thompson was
signed to Columbia before moving to RCA in a corporate restructuring of Sony Music Nashville last year. Thompson released
his debut album
Way Out Here for the label group in early 2010. His Top 40 hits include
"Beer
on the Table," "Way Out Here" and
"Won't
Be Lonely Long." His latest single, "Comin' Around," was intended to be the lead release from an upcoming album. As a
songwriter, Thompson's credits include
Jason Aldean's "Church Pew or Bar
Stool" and
Brad Paisley's "A Man Don't Have to Die."
