Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw's Brothers of the Sun tour broke an attendance record in the New York City/New Jersey area on Saturday night (Aug. 11). The pair sold 56,285 tickets to their concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The tally breaks the record Chesney set last year with his Goin' Coastal tour, with slightly more than 55,000 tickets sold. The Brothers of the Sun tour has sold more than 1 million tickets this year, becoming the ninth time in 10 years Chesney has sold more than 1 million tickets. The tour continues Saturday (Aug. 18) at Ford Field in Detroit.
