Rodney Atkins and Luke Laird will join host Bob DiPiero when the CMA Songwriters Series makes its Pittsburgh debut on Sept. 12 at the Hard Rock Cafe. The informal concerts have previously been staged in several other cities, including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston. Atkins' songwriting credits include "Watching You," his hit single that spent four weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's country songs chart in 2006. Laird's hits include Carrie Underwood's "Temporary Home," Miranda Lambert's "Baggage Claim" and Sara Evans' "A Little Bit Stronger." DiPiero's extensive song catalog features hits such as Tim McGraw's "Southern Voice," George Strait's "Blue Clear Sky" and Easton Corbin's "Lovin' You Is Fun."
