Ashton Shepherd has parted ways with MCA Nashville, a label spokesperson has confirmed. She released two albums for the label: Sounds So Good in 2008 and Where Country Grows in 2011. Her singles included "Takin' Off This Pain," "Sounds So Good," "Look It Up" and "Where Country Grows." Shepherd is looking for material for an upcoming album produced by Shenandoah drummer Mike McGuire, according to the industry publication RowFax. No label has been announced for that project.
