Dierks Bentley and Eric Church will sing at the Love for Levon benefit concert on Oct. 4 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J., near New York City. Gregg Allman, Patty Griffin and Bruce Hornsby will also appear at the concert, along with Marc Cohn, Warren Haynes, John Hiatt, Ray LaMontagne, My Morning Jacket, Mavis Staples, Joe Walsh and Lucinda Williams. Helm, singer and drummer for The Band, died in April after a battle with throat cancer. Tickets for the concert go on sale Wednesday (Aug. 29). Proceeds will benefit Helm's estate and will provide support for his Midnight Rambles concert series.
