Darius Rucker released his new single, "True Believers," to country radio on Monday morning (Aug. 27). It's the first single from his upcoming album, produced by Frank Rogers and due in early 2013. Rucker co-wrote the song with Josh Kear. "It's such a defiant song for me. The message is that 'My life works for me, whether it's what you agree with or not.' And it's something I am really proud of as a singer and a writer," Rucker said. "With this record as a whole, we wanted to do something a little different. It's really all about the songs, and I think 'True Believers' is a great sample of what's to come from my third album."
