Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan and Lady Antebellum were the country winners at the 40th anniversary American Music Awards held Sunday night (Nov. 18) in Los Angeles. Underwood's Blown Away won the favorite country album honor. Within the country field, Swift, Bryan and Lady Antebellum claimed wins their respective female artist, male artist and country band, duo or group categories. The event at the Nokia Theatre included performances by Underwood, Swift and Kelly Clarkson.
