CMT Artists of the Year
special premiering Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Which celebrities will be in attendance? What songs will be performed? And most
importantly, which country superstars will nab the coveted trophies? Though the show may be top secret, hosts

Flatts and Hayden Panettiere are giving eager fans an exclusive look behind the scenes as they prepare for the night's
big show. In fact, Rascal Flatts' Joe Don Rooney says, "It's a great tip of the hat to country music and the artists that
are doing so well. It's really a relaxed atmosphere and really chill, so we'll be able to have a lot of fun and interact with
the artists that will be awarded that night." Bandmate and funnyman Jay DeMarcus adds, "It's going to be kind of a roast,
too, but they don't know that, but we're going to kind of roast some of the artists that are going to be there." This is one
