Vince Gill will be joined by more than a dozen noted guitarists for String Fever, a concert
taking place Wednesday (Dec. 12) at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville. The event at the James K. Polk Theater
will feature Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members Duane Eddy and Steve Cropper,
Marty Stuart,
Steve Wariner, John Jorgenson, Larry Carlton, Steve Gibson, Johnny Hiland and Al Perkins,
among others. The benefit concert is presented by the Tennessee State Museum Foundation in conjunction with its exhibit,
The
Guitar: An American Love Story, which runs through Dec. 30. The exhibit includes more than 150 guitars, including instruments
previously owned by
Elvis Presley, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and
Roy
Rogers.
