A private funeral service for Mindy McCready will be held Tuesday at Crossroads Church in Fort Myers, Fla. The singer, a Fort Myers native, died Sunday (Feb. 17) of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at her home in Heber Springs, Ark. Her family is planning the service in Florida, but burial arrangements had not been finalized as of Friday morning (Feb. 22). McCready's friends in the music community are also planning a memorial service. The gathering is tentatively scheduled to take place March 6 at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville.
