Old Crow Medicine Show, the modern-day string band that first popularized "Wagon Wheel," was invited to join the Grand Ole Opry during a concert in Cleveland on Friday night (Aug. 16). The band was surprised near the end of their set by Opry member Marty Stuart, who formally asked them to join. Stuart and the band then jammed on "We Don't Grow Tobacco" and "Wagon Wheel." Old Crew Medicine Show have played the Opry dozens of times since their debut performance Jan. 13, 2011.
