SALAD
1/4 head lettuce on ice
w/blue cheese dressing
3/4 cup sour crem
1/2 t dry mustard
1/2 t black pepper
1/2 t salt
1/4 t garlic powder
1 t Worcestershire
1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
4 ounces blue cheese

Mix all ingredients together and mix in a food processor for 3 to 4 minutes. Bottle and seal unused portion in the refrigerator.

CHUBBY CHILI
1 pound lean ground beef
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 vidalia onion, coarsley chopped
1 large red pepper coarsley chopped
1 large green bell pepper coarsley chopped
1 cup butternut squash, peeled and coarsley chopped
1 (10 oz) package frozen corn
2 (14 oz) cans stewed tomatoes
1 (15) ounce cans chili hot beans
1 (14 oz) can beef broth
2 t chili powder
1 t cumin
1/2 t salt
1 cup elbow macaroni (cooked)

Brown ground beef stirring until crumbly, drain. Add garlic, onion, both peppers and squash--mix well. Stir in the corn, tomatoes, beans, broth, cooked macaroni, chili powder, salt and cumin. Cook 30 minutes. Ladle into chili bowls.
Serve sides: sour cream, grated cheddar cheese, Jalapeno peppers and Club Crackers.

PIGS IN A BLANKET
32 Hillshire Farm Li'l Smokies
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated cresent dinner rolls

Heat oven to 375. Cut each dinner roll in quarters. Wrap each li'l smokie in one quarter roll. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with ketchup and mustard.

BAKED BUTTERNUT SQUASH
Using a sharp knife, cut squash in half long-ways Remove seeds. Place squash cut side down on a large pan like a cookie sheet, in a 425 oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and turn. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon; add pieces of butter. Bake 5 - 8 minutes longer.

RED-NECK GARLIC BREAD
Butter white bread. Sprinkle with garlic powder. Bake until brown. We love it!

PEACH COBBLER
Preheat oven to 350
2 (15 1/4 oz.) cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup
3/4 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk (I use 1/2 cup shaken buttermilk and 1/2 cup evaporated)

Empty peaches in a saucepan. Add 3/4 cup sugar. Heat until sugar dissolves and melts in with peaches. Melt butter in 9 x 13 baking dish. Pour peaches in over butter. Sift flour, add sugar and mix. Add milk's and stir well. Pour over peaches. Cook aat 350 one hour.
