Miles & Music for Kids

Now on to Nashville and Chicago

Dierks Bentley raised more than $143,000 in Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday (May 22) at his Miles & Music for Kids event. Proceeds will benefit the Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. Bentley led nearly 1,000 bikers on a motorcycle ride and performed for an additional 4,000 fans at an afternoon concert at the LC Pavilion.

Bentley plans to host similar events in Nashville and Chicago later this year.

In the last five years, the series has raised more than $1.5 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. In 2009, Bentley joined forces with Nationwide Insurance, CMT One Country and the Children's Miracle Network to expand the program.
