  1. Sales Rep

After high school, Matt studied business management in college for a couple of years. Then he decided to strike out on his own, working as a farm and ranch hand, sales representative for major American companies, including a brewery, a mattress company and a garage door manufacturer. After that, he got the show business bug and worked in front of the camera, modeling and playing small parts in several movies and TV shows. He's also managed a Chippendale's franchise and owned a boxing gym. Five years ago, Matt sold the boxing bar at a loss and headed to the mountains, "depressed and trying to escape." He met Stacy, had a few beers, bought $5,000 in sculptures and starting working as the sales rep for Deadwood Tree Sculptures. Matt says that it's the perfect job for him because there's "No dress codes, haircuts or shaving. It's all about being outdoors, getting a tan and having a cold beer anytime of the day." Matt met his Russian wife Svetlana (Lana) 10 years ago when he came into the TV repair shop where she was working. Matt fell in love with her and her accent, and they married two months later. The couple has two daughters age 3 and 3 months.
