About Episode

  1. This episode of CMT Crossroads brings together three women with powerhouse voices: classic rock pioneers Heart (sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson) and country star Wynonna. Ann and Nancy Wilson first showed the world that women can rock when Heart stormed the charts in the 1970s with smash hits like "Crazy on You," "Magic Man" and "Barracuda." Having a profound influence on rock music, Heart has sold 30 million records, had 21 Top 40 hits, and sold out arenas worldwide. After taking time to pursue solo projects -- including Ann's theatrical debut in Teatro Zinzanni and Nancy's scoring of the blockbuster films Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous and Vanilla Sky -- Heart is making music once again. Jupiter's Darling, their first studio album in nearly a decade, will be accompanied by a 60-city tour. Critically lauded as one of the finest vocalists of our time, Wynonna first came into prominence in 1984 as part of the legendary mother-daughter duo, The Judds, one of the most celebrated success stories in country music history. In just six short years, they sold more than 20 million records worldwide and won 60 industry awards including five Grammys. In 1992, Wynonna launched a successful solo career and has sold more than nine million albums and earned multiple major industry awards. Her sixth solo studio album, What the World Needs Now is Love, debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboardcountry chart in 2003.
