About Episode

  1. He's had a long, successful career singing about beaches and margaritas, but after a hit duet with Alan Jackson last year, Jimmy Buffett is finding a welcome home in country music. Tuesday, July 13 marks the release of his first country album featuring several collaborations with some of country's biggest names. We recently caught up with the tropical superstar and we'll get the inside scoop on the entire album. New success isn't just for the big stars, though. It's also finding the young artists in country music. Hot new duo Big & Rich will talk about their debut CD, getting started in Nashville with the Musik Mafia and their upcoming tour with country star Tim McGraw this summer. Legendary singer-songwriters Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard landed in Roswell, N.M., over the Fourth of July holiday weekend for the annual Roswell UFO Festival. We were there and we'll have all the highlights from the annual festival that celebrates the little town known for UFO landings. Also on tap for this episode, we'll catch up with Sara Evans and her brother, who just happens to be her band leader, to find out what it's like to tour with your sibling who happens to be the boss; give fans a sneak peek at the upcoming special CMT Crossroads featuring country star Wynonna and pop duo Heart; and have newcomer Trent Willmon show us the latest in guitar technology. Our L.A. correspondent Lisa Lee will also give fans the lowdown on two new movies hitting theaters -- DreamWorks' Anchorman starring Will Ferrell and Disney's latest King Arthur.
